Wait......are all 14 songs sung by Noel? It would be re-recording of unreleased songs, so yeah it would be all with Noel at vox. And probably in a different style than they were originaly concivied. |

I honestly prefer a new Liam solo record than an album made up of Oasis rejects. Liam is releasing high-level music, better than some Oasis albums. The point is that Noel must not allow himself to become official Oasis frontman, because he is not suitable, it would ruin the identity and the perfect Oasis scheme. |

Reforming Oasis by one and only Noely? R u fckn serious? Ofc Noel hates the idea of being in Oasis - but not that far. Oasis is over. With or without Liam. Noel won't do that, no way. As he respects the legend, he told it many times

Depending how he does it, if it's a load of unreleased demos and no intention of touring I don't see the problem tbh, just think of it as an anthology album, if he tried to do Oasis without Liam then he can't be stupid enough to think he can get away with it (not that I think any of this true btw)

As a studio band there's no real need for Noel or Liam to actually be in the studio together at the same time. Noel writes his songs, records them with Andy and Gem, then he goes home. Liam comes in the next day and Andy and Gem help him lay down the vocals on those pre-recorded songs and then help him record his own songs. Let's be honest - I think this was probably pretty much standard Oasis practice alot of the time anyway. They could do that now to make a new Oasis album. If they still want to make money from touring they continue to do their own solo tours. The right time for them to make the transition to studio-only band and quit touring was after the post Don't Believe The Truth tour. Unfortunately I think everything that happened between them after that point makes such a possibility extremely unlikely. Too much has gone on between the brothers since then. |

There's no way Oasis would've worked as a studio band, their live show was such a big part of their success even in the 2000s. It worked for the Beatles because it allowed them to break musical boundaries without having to worry about how it would translate to the stage but Oasis songs were literally made to fill stadiums/arenas. |

I agree with you about Liam and Noel having to share the same tour bus etc and sometimes I used to think that it was like being an Oasis fan it was like being on a rollercoaster. But I don't think that being a studio band would have worked because I think that both Noel and Liam and the rest of the band would have wanted to tour anyway. Besides fans would have wanted to go to their concerts and see them live anyway. |

Yea, I like what Liam is doing and how he has brought back that old Oasis feel to his act, but especially on WM?WN. some of his songs feel outright contrived to fit what Liam wants, or what they think Liam would want. It's got two really stellar songs (One of Us, Once) and some pretty solid songs (Gone, WM?WN., The River, Now That I've Found You), but the others, to me, are either forgettable (Halo, Meadow), contrived (Alright Now, Be Still), or try to do something but fall flat (Shockwave). Liam is putting out some good music and doing killer shows, that's the big thing. |

As they are Liam's solo albums for some of you they can't be better than some Oasis albums. For some of you, the "Oasis" brand blurs the mind. And unfortunately Noel knows. Be more objective and try to evolve!

Both Liam and Noel's solo albums are better than HC. I'd probably put it above the Beady Eye albums though.
