IIRC Noel doesn't actually tell Liam to shut up, that was just deceptive editing in the MTV Behind the Music doc (or whatever it was called). In the original recording someone in the audience shouts to Noel to hurry up and he responds with "shut up". Wow thank you I’ve lived my whole life trusting that the BTM documentary was how it happened and Noel acknowledged Liam. My whole life feels like a lie. I believe this is the same documentary where, at the end, the talking heads are all going on about how great it would be if Oasis came back... despite the fact that the documentary came out in 2000, when Oasis were still very much together. Turns out VH1 is not a particularly trustworthy source. |

Also keen for a download if anyone's got it haha. Got the Green Day Jaded in Chicago unedited yesterday luckily for me ... that channel was never going to last long. But hadn't got round to the unplugged yet!
Seemed crazy that the dude seemed to be using it to promote his stand up, did he not understand copyright.

It does seem a bit stupid but as I don't use YouTube I don't really know what the rules are. But I know that on Tubidy all those videos are straight off YouTube to download and the Oasis ones which were officially released are on there.

How was there a spare seat in the balcony for Liam to sit in? I cant see Patsy sitting there alone with Coyley and Owen Morris
Plus I didn't realize the gig was free? You can hear Noel say it to the crowd after the last song

That article also has an interesting bit about "two new songs" being performed, so it sounds like the Reuters reporter also believed Noel! |
