LONDON — Queen Elizabeth II announced today that she will knight either Liam or Noel Gallagher of famed 90s Britpop group Oasis to quell her incessant boredom during quarantine, royal sources confirmed.

“Everyone remembers how exciting the 90s were, and with the year we’ve all had I thought maybe sparking some more of that great sibling rivalry would be a nice distraction,” explained the Queen while violently throwing darts at a portrait of Harry and Meghan. “I could make a big deal about how the brother I end up picking is the true genius of the family, just to watch the chaos unfold. Oasis lead singer and younger Gallagher brother Liam greeted the rumors with both appreciation and mild skepticism, fondly recalling how he and the Queen spent her 70th birthday garden party.
