You know, the one's that you listened to for the first time and instantly fell in love with. Sometimes a song has to grow on you, but these ones didn't. Columbia is definitely mine. I heard that falsetto bit and those lyrics on the chorus and I immediately thought 'what a tune!'. Wonderwall also stands out for me.

DYKWIM is the first Oasis song that got my attention, despite it being just a short clip of the song, and I had to go find the full track later.
Falling Down is another one that absolutely blew me over from the very first listen.

Bought DM on a whim without ever hearing them. Cigs and Alcohol was the song that made the most instant impression, quickly followed by the rest of the album after a few plays.
Columbia my favourite off album now though.

Half the World Away. I'll never forget the first time I heard it. The lyrics washed over me in a way Noel's lyrics don't tend to do usually. Still can't believe it's a b-side.

DLBIA, which is still my favourite to these days
I was properly blown away when the chorus came up, and I have a quite vivid memory of when I heard it for the first time

Supersonic and Some Might Say definitely, it's why I became a fan.
I knew Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger obviously and liked both songs but not that much really to take that much of an interest in the band and then I heard both Supersonic and Some Might Say for the first time and I thought woh.
There are others like My Big Mouth but these two stick out because when I heard them I wasn't a fan, I stumbled across them on the music channels by chance.

Hello is another one for me. 'Nobody ever mentions the weather can make or break your day'. I thought that line was amazing for some reason. I heard it and was like 'wow that's genius!'. It's not their best song, but I still really like it.

I remember listening to ‘I’m outta time’ for the first time when it leaked on YouTube in 2008. The video had a John Lennon canva. I spent the rest of the evening listening to that beauty on repeat, completely in love with that melancholic vibe. An instant classic. And still to this day that marvellous song hits something in me that no other song can.

Some Might Say, especially bridge...changed what music was to me
Listen Up, I couldn’t believe a song like that existed after so much morose crap during the the grunge era

The one that started it all: Don't Look Back In Anger. When I first heard it on a show, never had heard a rock song so well made and sonically tantiliizing like it before. Afterwards, Live Forever, Some Might Say - down of rabbit hole of euphoric music that at the time as a teen I needed more than I thought.

Some Might Say Roll With It Wonderwall Don't Look Back In Anger
There was a rock station in South Africa where someone requested an Oasis song. The DJ said he could not locate the song and so played another Oasis song. Soon after that he said found the original song, and played it.
A little while later they used to have this double play session where they play two songs by the same act back to back and they played two Oasis songs. So in a short space of time they played the four Oasis singles (I can't remember the order). But I then immediately ran to the music shop (CNA) and bought Morning Glory and proceeded to play those four songs over and over as I was so hooked.
It was only much later in the evening that I ventured into other songs on the albums and was very pleasantly surprised at how good the rest were.
If I had to select the one that hit me the most then.... Don't Look Back In Anger

I had received the album as a present. When song 4 started, mid-song in I was on cloud nine. I remember saying 'Fuckin' hell, it can't be so good. Something THIS good can't exist'.

And for me. It's just impossible not to be grabbed by that tune. A song that refuses to be ignored. And that fucking chorus.

The intro hits you straight away, the opening line, the chorus, the guitar solo etc. If you don't like Supersonic then you know they aren't the band for you.

Let There Be Love hit me so hard it got me back into Oasis after not listening to them for a really long time. I know I have said that before in other contexts on here but it seemed relevant to the qeustion.
