Ain't it that time of the year already?
Not counting italian stuff:
Mac Miller - Circles Fontaines D.C. - A Hero's Death Kodaline - One Day At A Time Tame Impala - The Slow Rush The Weeknd - After Hours Disclosure - Energy IDLES - Ultra Mono Glass Animals - Dreamland CamelPhat - Dark Matter Dizzee Rascal - E3 AF
A bit of a disappointing year for me compared to 2019, but I guess it was to be expected with this whole Covid mess, really looking forward to 2021

Despite of Covid-19 and gig-less months since February, I've been spoiled with good music this year.
These 3 are absolute my best of 2020: Serpentine Prison - Matt Berninger (Best album of this year to me) On Sunset - Weller The View From Halfway Down - Andy Bell
I also enjoyed 10 Songs by Travis.

folklore by Taylor Swift. I haven't been a Swift fan historically, but I loved the mellower approach on this one. It really highlighted her songwriting, which is her biggest musical strength IMO.

Off the top of my head:
RTJ4 The Slow Rush Rough & Rowdy Ways
Special mention to Hollow World by Elephant Stone. They created a work that's very ambitious from what they've done before and still taking on similar elements of the sound they've molded already.

Phoebe Bridgers - Punisher Tame Impala - The Slow Rush EOB - Earth Doves - The Universal Want Andy Bell - The View from Halfway Down Taylor Swift - folklore Bright Eyes - Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was Soccer Mommy - color theory Fleet Foxes - Shore Matt Berninger - Serpentine Prison Bob Dylan - Rough and Rowdy Ways Hamilton Leithauser - The Loves of Your Life Smashing Pumpkins - Cyr
I guess that is all that is springing to mind right now. I've been meaning to check out Fontaines D.C's "A Hero's Death". A good album is hard to come by these days. I'm talking A to Z, top to bottom, front to back.

Demons And Wizards-III Alestorm- Curse of the Crystal Coconut Ulcerate- Stare into death and be still
All 3 hated by the metal community because OMS IT ISN'T KILLER BE KILLED. Overrated album of 2020 goes to: Killer Be Killed-Reluctant Hero

Iām probably biased because Iāve been listening to the pumpkins since 1993 and always check out Billy Corgan projects (solo, Zwan, Pumpkins). The album is very heavy on the synthesizers. A lot of it reminds me of the score to Stranger Things. Very 1984-1985. My highlights: Colour of Love, CYR, Dulcet In E, Starrcraft, Black Forrest, Black hills and The Hidden Sun.

Iāve not listened to the new Smashing Pumpkins double album yet but what were your thoughts on it? What songs stood out to you? Songs 1 to 11 are are close to perfection, after that you slowly lose interest i thought. Would have made a great "single" album.

Songs 1 to 11 are are close to perfection, after that you slowly lose interest i thought. Would have made a great "single" album. Single or double album what is the difference in the age of streaming. We are no longer confined to 45 min on a piece of vinyl, or 50 minutes of a cassette or 72 minutes on a CD. We are in the era of infinite content and thus should be infinitely content. Iām also longing for the Machina I and II reissue next year. Such an underrated album and all the 55+ songs that came with it.
