ok, we can draw the line at britney spears mate, just find another hobby. Enough already. This is beyond of having another "discussion" about a subject, you just enjoy annoying everyone Well, I know there are dynamics that develop long-term over forums, and I won't comment on any of that, since I'm newish. But I will say that Andy Morris has been, in this conversation, respectful, funny, responsive and self-aware, all pretty nice things in the wilds of fan forums. Seen many uglier threads, that's for sure. This one has mostly been in good cheer, with a few exceptions. That said, I wonder if a solution for future is to put such posts in their own folder. A “controversies” folder or something. That way people who are highly annoyed can skip them. This particular topic is not just here, I'm afraid. It’s rampant on social media, so it's not like someone is just mining a grudge ... but maybe they're miming a grudge!  Certain members only pop up for certain comments. It's always been like that and it always will, unfortunatelly. "Fun" and "enjoying to annoy everyone" are completely different things. At this point, nobody cares if it was live or not live except someone who keeps going on, on, on, on... to convince others he's right. People moved on, so he should move on as well. and no, there will be no "controversies" folder on this board, present and in future, I'm afraid. |

He needs a contemporary pr campaign, the demographic of The One Show and Jonathan Ross etc probably aren’t those who buy or stream records and that approach is dated. A totally fresh outlook is what’s needed if he wants to successfully chart, I’m not sure if the charts are that important though. It’s not the charts babe, it’s what is in our hearts.  |

The Britney comment was a relevant answer as it disproves the quoted post in a very simple way. You can really sing and lip sync at the same time. Hell, some artist do both... during the same song !
There are many tricks people are not aware of, and it's interesting to me to know these things. Burn me for that.
Thanx to the people that supported me here and elsewhere, the few open to discussion, even those i disagreed with on this subject. For the well being of this forum, i'll stop now.

Maybe if you wanna rank how songs “sold” in their subgenre fine but all these other charts seem like ways just for record companies to spin “success”. This is not a shot at Liam at all. It's at number 6 on the Amazon sales chart. I was hoping that Liam's single would stay in the top 30. But it's good to see that it's number one in both the official download charts and the official singles sales chart.

He was on the big top 40 last week at 4 on 2 days sales , this last week he’s got the biggest selling single of the week but for some reason they added steaming into the equation , that’s a big task at this time of year

Yeah, they've been adding streaming for a long time now on the top 40. It would be nice if when the vinyl versions are released that they will give the song a boost.
