Good music is good music full stop. With this voice he can sing whatever he wants and I'd buy it. It's a Christmas single. Not sure about the validity of 'good music is good music full stop', but hey, each to their own. But yeah, it is a christmas single. So some of the slightly 'schmaltzy' vibe is unavoidable. His voice does damn near save it (pretty sure that's what music critics used to say about every post-WTSMG song xD)

Sounds promising! But I keep thinking, who rehearses kisses?! Would be a great album title, though, "Rehearsed kisses".

Sounds quite good that clip! It sounds like it will guarantee him a spot in Christmas radio playlists for years.

Just heard the whole song from a friend from Argentina. It coasts slowly and beautiful. This could be a big hit for Liam especially with mainstream adults. Not really for rockers. A very beautiful mature ballad. When you hear the full song it makes sense perfectly. I am very happy with it Pouring out of the car radio at high volume, a million lonely people are going to be singing along in tears to this one. Agree, it has real potential to be a hit with people who probably would otherwise not think they're into Liam Gallagher. Very in tune with the global mood. And Liam always goes right to his edge, even in a sentimental ballad.

Listened to it in full and...think it's a bit of a missed chance, I would've loved some gentle drums and a bit of bass to kick in during the second verse and a good instrumental break and/or outro, it's very elegant and with some great instrumentation but I don't think the melody is as strong as it should be to sustain it The vocals are great though, a brilliant, heartfelt performance
I guess they were going exactly for this though, so each to their own, it's not a bad song by any means, just not really my cup of tea I'll give it for sure another listen when it comes out here at midnight and will certainly spin it from time to time on my way to the 25th, but was just hoping in something slightly different

Just listened to the full version. Nice slowie, wish it wasnt so xmassy though. Chorus is great
I just hope Liam isn't on a special Xmas TOTP with kids around him as hes on a chair singing this
Know what you mean about drums kicking in etc , might have sounded a bit too close or similar to Once if that happened after the first bit etc

It's basically a Gary Barlow song, but with Liams vocals. Nice to hear Liams voice as always, but I have no desire to listen to this again.
