Britpop was a (now sadly over) era where rock bands could get big hits in the charts. Supergrass was one of those bands. "Alright", by far their most popular song, reached n°2 spot in the UK charts, and was also a hit in Iceland (n°6). It remains today one of britpop signature tracks.
What are your feelings/thoughts on the song ?

I wonder what would've been of Supergrass if they said yes to that show pitched to them by Spielberg. I mean their material is good but after the selftitled album their sales had dimishing returns. Alright is the song everyone know them from but Sun Hits The Sky is their best hands down.

Supergrass's reunion was brilliant earlier this year- such a strong back catalogue of material and the gig I attended was amazing.
I Should Coco was a great album- loads of different styles, and while Alright was a great tune- not overly reflective of their sound, so became a bit of a millstone.
