I really dont get why they decided to not release it. I know it's a bit strange really. I mean putting out the details and having The River on streaming sites you would think that they would have wanted to release it. However, last year I guess with the Knebworth release they decided not to release it. |

It would be great if they decided to release it for Record Store Day but I can't see them doing that though since Liam never does anything for it anyway.

and it says "released worldwide". As far as I know, it's not listed on Warner Japan website. As there's no Japanese edition of C'mon You Know, they might be planning to release Thames gig (CD) only in Japan on same day as C'mon You Know. Edit: My bad. There is a Japanese CD edition "C'mon You Know" with 1 bonus track will be released as well. |

That'd be cool. Wouldnt be surprised if they've just got it mixed up with CYK though, as its a bit weird releasing it on same day.
Maybe think #1 is already nailed on so trying to get top 2 albums that week.

They have the japanese edition of CYK listed as well: diskunion.net/portal/ct/detail/1008451450As mimmihopps pointed out before, 15 songs with one extra track. No tracklist revealed but i´ll go with "bless you" as japanese extra track... I´d be cool if Liam releases two albums on the same day. |

Correct me if I am wrong but all the folks that got tickets to Knebworth had to pre-order the album correct? So he's pretty much guaranteed a #1 with that and it would be a hell of a headline if he gets a number two with this gig which has been pretty acclaimed.
I don't see it happening but that would be pretty sick if they pulled it off.

Not quite sure how this would work from a logical perspective. Maybe someone who is a bit ore clued up than me could shed some light but surely it'd be like throwing money away by releasing them both at the same time? Surely you'd have a scenario where casual fans would buy one or the other when seeing both copies in store? Admittedly this doesn't account for huge amounts of sales but sales nonetheless. And Liam and Noel still have a hell of a lot of fans who buy their albums physically.
I just don't see it. I think it'd harm sales opposed to if you just released them at separate times.

I don’t think anything is confirmed here. One Japanese site could have just thrown in the CYK date because there isn’t anything confirmed. If it is real, it is an odd strategy.

As far as I know, the CD version of this will be released via Sony Japan, not Warner.

That would be intriguing, didn't big brother recordings sign a deal with Sony just before Oasis broke up? Maybe there has been a deal done with Noel to release a dvd as long as it is released through BB, rather than Warner. Not sure how that would work but doubt Liam is tied to an exclusive deal with Warner.

Liam has signed to Warner Japan, but C’mon You Know will be released by Sony in Japan and As It Was was released by other label. |

With this being released in a bundle with COYK, I can see first week sales of COYK being huge. There must be so many pre-orders building up with Knebworth, special editions etc.
