And, in light of Noel's imminent cover version, I absolutely love the words to (as well as everything else about) Lennon's 'Mind Games'. It effectively summarises Lennon's entire lyrical output. All the individual quirks of his artistry--humanism filtered through hippiespeak, internationalism, an awareness of psychology--are there.
So keep on playing those mind games together, Faith in the future out of the now.

Alex Turner has a gob's worth of great lyrics.
"Struggling with the notion that its life not film" is a great one from THIAC.
"Endearingly bedraggled in the wind" is another one from TAOTU.
