Thought of an idea for a thread. I will describe Rock n Roll Star with a sentence and a rating out of 10. The next person will then rate the next song in the Oasis Discography, going through each album chronologically.
NOTE: Only the album tracks, not B-Sides and we WILL include The Masterplan. Hidden tracks will not be included and the Swamp Song can be done as part of The Masterplan and NOT part of Morning Glory.
Hope this works!
Rock N Roll Star: Top tier tune which really captures Oasis' early punk influences. 8/10

Shakermaker: 8/10
Naughty little rip-off with a lazy summer bounce to it and some gorgeous Liam vocals.

Live Forever: 10/10
The perfect Oasis tune, haunting, melancholic yet still uplifting, Liam's peak vocals meet Noel's peak songwriting

Up in the Sky: 8/10.
Very good, underrated lyrically i think, my fav. bit is "You'll need assistance with the things that you, have never ever seen". โค

Columbia 10/10
Shoegaze, dance, and rock all rolled into one colossal package; the pinnacle of early Oasis.

Bring It On Down 10/10
A song so ferocious it made Funhouse-era The Stooges sound like 6 year olds.

Headshrinker 9/10. It's probably the fastest song Oasis ever released and it rocks.

Did he not say in chronological order?
Anyway, Supersonic - 10/10.
The definitive Oasis song, guitar lines better than most band's choruses and a chorus better than sex.

Cigarettes & Alcohol: 8/10
The best possible way to rip off a famous track, make it your own with powerful, working class lyrics and a strong enough melody and not give a single fuck about what people think of it

Is Rolo still on this forum? Hereโs a classic moment of his from a long-gone forum: โAcquiesce - 8/10 Absolute Perfectionโ.
One of my favourite all-time forum moments.
Up there with a different fella who, whilst in a fairly heated argument, posted: โYeah, well you can prove anything with factsโ.
