For symmetry, what song doesn't get enough hate? Sure, the fanbase might not rate it very highly, but people still do not hate on this song nearly enough, in your opinion.
Mine's Shakermaker. I absolutely cannot take that song seriously. From the "shake along with me" line that just makes me think of a dog wagging its tail so hard its whole body shakes, to the careful tour of various pronouns ("shake along with me," "shake along with them"), to the sort of weird half-yodel thing that happens later on - what was anyone thinking? How did this become a single from an album with the likes of Under the Sky on it, Columbia, and Bring It On Down on it?

Uuuh this is though, it's a very fine line between overloved and underhated sometimes
Anyway, first one that comes to mind is Take Me Away I wouldn't mind it but that "I'd probably need a phone" line is unacceptable coming from a top songwriter

A lot of Don't Believe the Truth. Turn Up the Sun, Mucky Fingers, The Meaning of Soul - all shite.

Really torpedoes the song completely.

I don't think there's a song by Oasis that I truly hate. However I feel there should have been an uproar at the way The Cage was sequenced on Heathen Chemistry... leaving that long gap so that the track length is almost 40mins. They should have had The Cage as its own separate track, or better still, left off the album.

To be honest there isn't any Oasis song that I truly hate. Ok there's some which I'm not really a big fan of like I've mentioned in other threads but hate no.

Magic Pie - it has some decent parts to it, but always surprising that it made BHN. But of course Noely needed a Noel-sung song on there.

Soldier On. Liam's songwriting at its worst but people seem to really like it.

Possibly A Bell Will Ring? I dont rate it much at all, but it doesn't seem to get the hate that many other LAG songs get.
And of the older songs maybe The Swamp Song. I always felt the two excerpts on Morning Glory were enough, and there were plenty of B-sides that could have made TM in its place.

I cannot stand Part of the Queue, lyrics are fine but it sounds so mish mash like none of the sounds match to me from the guitars to the drums and the vocals, whats going on? I cannot understand it.

I try out lots of different stuff on recommendation from this board. I've been surprised at times by liking something that maybe isn't really in my wheelhouse

A lot of Don't Believe the Truth. Turn Up the Sun, Mucky Fingers, The Meaning of Soul - all shite. This is it right here - DBTT is romanticized so much in the community when it contains trash production from Sardy, horrid mixing and mastering, lackluster songs, and poor Liam vocals on the majority of the tracks. As for a particular song - Won't Let You Down. One of the worst vocal takes Liam has ever done (so much nasal), and bad lyrics - yet people think it's one of the better b-sides they released during the Mk2 era.

The línea about clowns is the worst Liam wrote while in Oasis.
