Apologies for starting a new thread, but I did a cover tonight that I think is pretty decent. All my life I've been told that I can't sing, whenever I post any covers to social media I get no response apart from the occasional negative. But this is the best I can do after 3 and a bit years on guitar. Should I give up completely or is this a decent step forward like I think it is?

It's a pretty easy song to sing I'll admit with very basic chords but I'm interested to hear what people who don't know me personally think of it. Cheers.
