Oh lord, this is going to finally tip some folk over the edge for good.
Credit for him getting out his comfort zone again. Sounds cool though, dance/electronic beats to a Noel melody ala Setting Sun. It's all a bit like New Order which is cool.
All harks back to the Hacienda days (the duo are from the north west like most acts back then) so shouldn't really surprise anyone if they know Noel's origins and musical environment.

Sounds like royalty free Youtube Music, not anything I haven't heard before. Granted I'm talking about after the beat drops. Everything before that seems interesting.

New Order and Setting Sun both came to mind immediatly Anyway, I don't think this is any indication of which direction he's going, he's "just" a guest on their record, kinda like the Chemical Brothers back in the days Still sounds very intriguing (and I'm a fan of their stuff anyway, so it's great to have them teaming up with Noel), and this may be unpopular but I think Noel's voice and phrasing really fits this type of tunes

Regardless of the collaboration, anything he does outside of dull meat and potatoes rock (ala Lock All The Doors) is usually met with scorn on social media these days sadly.

Honestly, 80% of the comments I read come from people who can't tell the difference between New Order and David Guetta I get if you don't like the sound and direction, that's fair enough (this won't even be on Noel's record, it can be avoided quite easily), but in the end he's doing it on his own terms probably knowing he's not going to gain anything from it, that at least should be respected I find it quite laughable when people call him a sell out for literally doing what the fuck he wants

Sounds good, doesn't it? I'd be surprised if Noel had much of a hand in the production, it's got that sense of genuine energy and colour that he struggles to conjure up on his own. But even in that little clip, he's bringing his party tricks to the table - gorgeous little melody there, and some very smooth vocals for a wrinkly rocker!

This sounds much better than 90% of the EP stuff going by that snippet. It's not riding the edge between new Noel and old Noel. It's all new Noel. That said, it could obviously go the other way easily. In any case, HYPED.

Just found that the female voice is indeed Ysee!
She confirmed it on Instagram. Did anyone knew about this colab? And when it's coming out?

This Is The Place, part 2
I wonder if he wrote the melody or he’s just singing what someone else wrote.

Great! I think Camelphat is releasing an album soon and this collab will be featured on it.
Jake Bugg and Yannis from Foals have already collab with Camelphat for tracks Be Someone and Hypercolour. I love both songs, but maybe it isn't the type of sound the people on this forum will enjoy.

Camelphat feat NGHFB? or NGHFB feat Camelphat? Noel is the guest on one track on CamelPhat’s album. The title of this thread should be changed if people are genuinely coming here expecting a new Noel track. This is more like Setting Sun, Let Forever Be or We Got The Power: a collaboration, a guest spot. No need to shit the bath in panic that Noel is making tech house now :-D X

Camelphat feat NGHFB? or NGHFB feat Camelphat? CamelPhat ft. Noel Gallagher I believe I think Oasis fanpages are causing a lot of confusion with this

Sounds good. It's not the kind of sound I'm hoping for the 4th album, but for a colaboration I think it sounds interesting.

X Don't know mate I'm reading a lot of people who think this is the first thing from Noel's new record (and some of em are, of course, outraged)

That little falling melody at 0:12 into the snippet is very pretty indeed. Woke up with it in my head this morning.

I know it's difficult to judge a song after a short snippet but this sounds like any other remix of his EP tunes. Nothing that really excites me tbh
