Do we know how well the various Definitely Maybe 25th anniversary formats sold? My guess is not as well as expected, as both the picture disc and picture disc/black vinyl bundle are still available at the official online shop. Knowing the sales figures would be a big clue as to whether or not they continue with doing those releases. Granted, a WTSMG one would probably do better than Definite Maybe just because there are more people out there who bought the former than the latter, but still it ultimately is about whether or not they will break even on the proposition. Also, I am not sure if they have recovered, but at the beginning of the pandemic the various vinyl pressing plants were experiencing significant delays (> 1 month) which could also be part of the problem here. These delays were one of the factors that impacted Record Store Day earlier this year.

I doubt we'll even get any demos to be honest. Also, are there actually any unreleased tracks from Morning Glory apart from Liam's version of Step Out? There's probably more on the original studio session tapes but judging by the lack of any of that sort of studio stuff on the previous reissues, either the studio session tapes were junked or lost or they legally don't have access to them or they can't afford access to them. Yeah you're probably right there. I wouldn't be surprised if there's plenty of original session tapes some where. I remember reading that there was a demo of Don't Look Back In Anger with Liam on vocals. |

I wouldn't get too excited, probably a picture vinyl and a few posts on social media, that's all. The Chasing the Sun releases are still too recent to release new rarities from the era. That's all I'd expect too - unless they maybe tie it in with a deluxe edition that includes a blu-ray of Knebworth. |

October is also national album month... Stone roses are releasing a clear vinyl for their debut LP.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see that’s the reason that they delayed the news, along with covid etc.
But a 25th anniversary/national album month announcement seems more than possible no?

I would buy the picture disc if we get one to go with my Definitely Maybe one.But that's all as I'm not too bothered about a coloured vinyl if there is one.

Well, who knows.
Still, a release is better than no release.
The double picture vinyl sounds good - as for the silver vinyl I’ll wait till it’s on sale on amazon or something.
Probably new t shirts will be up on site soon too?

I had a the postcard in the post today about this too.
I thought we would get another picture disc but I wasn't sure if the coloured vinyl would be the same as Definitely Maybe or not. Anyway, I might get the coloured vinyl of this one as well as the picture disc but I'm not sure yet.

Just pre-ordered picture discs and a cassette.
I didn't buy a MG box set from the Chasing The Sun thing, only bought DM and BHN, so it'll be nice to have a MG cassette. All for my collection.
