By the end of the match between 2 second division teams in Mendoza, Argentina - where Godoy Cruz was winning 3-0- the referee suspended it because of incidents provoqued by San Martin supporters. The police replied to the incidents with rubber bullets. That's when San Martin players tried to stop them and in the middle of the struggle, a player was shot in the right lung at close range (10 cm).
He was taken to a hospital where he was operated during 4 hours. The doctors extracted a piece of his lung. He's stable but still in bad condition and waiting for his evolution

he's evolving fine, but of course he won't be able to play football anymore.
the 8 policemen involved in the riot have been identified and separated. the one that shot him could face 25 years for murder attempt (well, in the real world.... you don't know what could happen in here)

if you don't have anything productive to say just keep your mouth shut.
how can you say that? don't you know anything about britain history/present?
and that's it, I won't get in a political fuse. it's not worth it.

Do we shoot football players at our matches? Nope We have gun problems but they aren't anywhere near as bad as yours. This isn't the first time something like this has happened in Argentina.
