I read on the BBC news pages yesterday that one of Trump's goverment members has congratulated Joe Biden on his election win. Of course never expect Trump to do that as he'll never except it.

There were protesters outside on the sidewalk waving the Trump 2020 signs as we were coming home yesterday. Also ones with Biden signs, but I missed them in that split second.
And apparently they're trying to get the voting machines for evidence now...
Only a month more of this? Doubt it.

Mitch McConnell will no long be Senate Majority leader with what looks like these two Democrat senate wins. Kamala Harris, in cases of ties in the Senate, will now be the tie-breaking vote. Meaning: the Democrats have control of the presidency, house, and senate. That makes it A LOT easier to pass legislation. If Republicans would have remained in control of the Senate, they would have been able to block votes. Now, as long as the Democrats vote along party lines, the Republicans will have very little say. |

McConnell also can't block bills from coming to the Senate floor for a debate as he has for many years. Definitely a big, big night for Democrats but not a free check and many tough fights ahead. |

It's just how I read it on the BBC World news pages yesterday. And, of course Trump being Trump he told his supporters that it's a chance to save America. But I'm not too sure how these elections work in America. |
