I think 2000 and 2001 were incredible live years for Oasis...and I've always enjoyed comparing the gigs from this small timeframe. From what I've read, many Oasis fans tend to view these years in a positive light. For me, since each year has their strong elements, I consider them to be equally great. 2000 (SOTSOG Tour) - This tour had a great new energy to it. I'm a fan of SOTSOG, so seeing more of those tracks in the setlist is great. 2001 (South America/Tour Of Brotherly Love/10 Years N&C) - Including a couple SOTSOG tracks, bringing back more classic Oasis tracks in the setlist, and ending again with 'I Am The Walrus' worked very well. Do you prefer Oasis live more in the year 2000 or 2001?...Or do you also view them at the same level of greatness?

Both years each have two stand out gigs for me; Jools Holland and Wembley (2000) Rock in Rio and Barrlowlands (2001)
2000 arguably had healthier Liam vocals but Rock in Rio has my favourite live performance of Wonderwall so I could go either way.

Both very strong years IMO and I agree with the gigs mentioned. I'd probably just go for 2000.

As much as I love the SOTSOG Tour, I would prefer it over 2001 if the setlist included more tracks from that era. I think tracks like 'Let's All Make Believe', 'Full On', and 'Roll It Over' would have fit very well. I also agree with Wembley, Rock in Rio, and Barrowlands being stand out gigs.
Some other stand out gigs I'd like to note:
Yokohama (03.05.2000) - While I think Liam sounds great the whole tour, he sounds particularly crisp and clear in early gigs like this
Second Night Wembley (07.22.2000) - First night Wembley is way better in terms of performance, but Liam being in 'one of them moods' in this gig is pretty funny
Leeds (08.28.2000) - A great finale to the SOTSOG Tour
Los Angeles (05.15.2001) - Incredible performances of Go Let It Out/Champagne Supernova
Paris (06.24.2001) - Has one of my favorite performances of Columbia
Japan, Fuji Rock (07.21.2001) - A great gig, Liam sounds great

I too agree that both years were great. For some reason I've always loved the track listing on their 2000 tour but 2001 like has the 10 years of Noise & Confusion
