Wow...........18 tracks too! Most of them recorded with Gem in 2016. Andy has really found his purple patch since Beady Eye split. It really is incredible the run he is on between his more straight forward solo material and his electronic side project Glok. Where was this when he was in Oasis? I always felt he put on a Gallagher brothers leash during his tenure. All the sudden he pigeonholed his writing for a decade plus. Now he is free.

I've just read this on Stop Crying Your Heart Out. Even Oasis, Noel or Liam or Beady Eye have never managed an 18 track album.

This is brilliant, it sounds like a reprise of Vapour Trail.

Got to say that out of all the ex Oasis members I'm most happy for Andy. He seems to be in good terms with all the other Oasis guys, he has had a succesful reunion with his old mates in Ride, he has found his own sound on his solo albums and he just seems to be overall very happy. Not to mention that you can hear the influence of his Oasis years and BE sounds on his latest output. It seems like he has blended all his experiences and long hidden ideas into his work and - like you said - found his purple patch. ... And on a side note; Weather Diaries is my favourite song from any Oasis member after the breakup. That and Everybody's on the Run.

Besides I don't use social media every day.

Andy really does seem to have found himself to be settled musically at last. Good for him. But I can't help but feel/think that oasis was at the cost of it all. Shame really. But, all oasis members seem to be happy doing their own thing now so it's all good I guess.

For as much as I agree with this, I also think it shows the greatness of Noel to still create great songs in the formula he does. For an Oasis song, and HFB most the time - it's all on the melody. There's no hiding. As much as I like what Andy has done solo and with Ride, let's face it you can hide poor songs behind great instrumentals. What I've always admired about Noel is, for all the detractors, the genius in the simplicity is incredible.

Those songs cut to the chase and are mostly all timeless.

Those songs cut to the chase and are mostly all timeless. At the same time a lot of people grew up listening to the red and blue albums and could never do what Noel has done. It's just a mysterious gift to be able to tap into simple, perfect melodies like that.

Iโve uploaded an acoustic set Andy performed for BBC Radio Ulster last night in the British bands bootleg board.
This is a brilliant album, highly recommended.

I wasn't familiar with his solo music, and gave it a listen. I have to say it's not for me. We All Fall Down was the only song I liked on the new album.
