Has anyone ever attempted to make a duo edit of both Noel's and Liam's vocals for the track? I'm aware of the the Mustique demo with Liam's vocals on it, but the guy who mixed that one left out quite a bit of Noel's vocals in his version.

I think someone did it at the time, or maybe just added Liam's vocals over the Mustique demo.

Just have to edit a few more places where they go out of sync I don't know if you were looking for an acoustic or electric version Any thoughts on how to improve it? Or were you talking about the result of the combined vocals? |

Yeah, it's the combined vocals, they don't sing at exactly the same pace, Noel's lagging a bit, so it sounds awkward. Don't know if you can do anything about that, speeding up Noel's delivery without losing the pitch seems tricky. |

Or were you talking about the result of the combined vocals? Well, off of just this small snippet, I wouldn't have used live performances of the song. I would've gone straight for the recorded takes from the demo and final studio vocals from Liam. I was looking for a full band version, basically the finished full band accompaniment with Liam's final studio vocal take mixed in with Noel's demo vocal take-- this is what I was looking for. I figured through most of the time we've had the Mustique demos, someone would've already done this. If I ever get to finishing my own version, I might add a few things to it. All in due time, though. Yours is good, and if I ever came across as harsh with yours, I'm not. Yours is quite good actually, and in fact, your version sounds like what a demo could sound like if Liam and Noel both sat down and sang the vocals together. It's new, that's for sure. Keep going. I want to hear everything when it's finished! |
