Yeah I think at Finsbury Park last night Noel takes over for the second chorus. I'm pretty sure Liam did sing the first one. Smart of Liam to encourage the crowd to sing along at the hardest part for him to sing. I would have liked them to play it earlier in the setlist like fourth or fifth. If they placed it somewhere there odds are Liam would have more voice to give for those higher notes even in the still hard to sing lowered key. Suppose the risk there would be his voice going like it did in Japan early in the SOTSOG tour, and he couldn't carry on the gig. I know it was in the lowered key, but still a risk, whereas by the end of the gig, suppose they could always blag it if it all went tits up FWIW, I love the 02/03 set, thought it was great I like the 2002 tour a lot too. I wasn't trying to complaining or anything about it. It's one of my favorite periods of Oasis.

I was thinking about this the other day regarding the 2000s. I wonder if when Morning Glory returned in 2001 if it ever was dropped. After it returned in May 2001 (the American gigs supporting The Black Crowes I think), I think it was kept in the set until the very end. Apart from noels STC gigs with Gem.

I didn't understand why they kept playing it live when Liam's voice couldn't hold it as well as in the 90's. But when I watched them live in the DOYS tour I understood. The atmosphere was amazing, and the crowd went nuts throughout the whole song. Made me not even care for Liam's voice.
