Still can’t believe he wrote this lush Britpop gem. 11/10.

Still can’t believe he wrote this lush Britpop gem. 11/10. That’s just, like, your opinion, man. -The Dude

It’s an absolutely amazing tune. Maybe my favorite song post-Oasis besides If I Had a Gun...

You mean that he's personally written and is the only writer's credit on? Then yeah, I might buy that. I do like it a lot. The melody has this... hopefulness to it, I guess? It just comes across as very sweet and optimistic, and there aren't any of those clunker lines to bring it down. I like Bold a lot, too, but I'd take either of them any day over Songbird, which is my favorite Oasis song of his.

Not as good as songbird, but maybe one of his better solo ones.

I don't know what it is but there's something so good about "it's not goodbye, so dry your eyes" that keeps bringing me back to the song just to hear it.

With a better ending, it could be a solid main set closer.

Still can’t believe he wrote this lush Britpop gem. 11/10. Not sure if it’s definitely (maybe) hands down his best, but it’s certainly high in the running and doesn’t get enough love. Great song,

It’s certainly up there. In his solo career, its my favourite of the songs he wrote by himself.

Just listened back to it now. Really is great.
As You Were is a really solid album - will have a listen back as it's been a while. Still can't abide Chinatown but other than that it's great.

Still think Born On A Different Cloud is his best song, though.
Mainly the live version which steps it up tbf.
Bold is close.

Still can’t believe he wrote this lush Britpop gem. 11/10. This. That moment when the guitar kicks in, in the instrumental right before the final chorus. Man what a rush.

I’ve always liked the song but when Liam did it at the Glasgow Transmit festival a couple years ago and followed it by “Whatever” to end the main set - that’s when I fell in love with it.
