What do you think the structure of the arrangement would look like?

The one part would have come after the other thing following the nanananas.

Structure-wise, I think it would've been much, much more concise and focused, especially if it had been made for MG. Think of how Champagne Supernova is and how every little bit contributes to the song and the way it builds.
There are so many different guitar licks and transition sections that get buried by Liam's "Na na na"s, plus the production is so overblown that it feels like it's at 11 to start, even if it does build.
Give it The Masterplan treatment with the instrumental, too, so that way every little bit is heard and not drowned out by the guitars. I'd also spare the song the "Na na na na"s and the ones in the outro would be more distant to give it more of an ethereal feel (a la Embrace's All You Good Good People), while also incorporating the Reprise's outro into the song.
AATW is one of the best things that Oasis ever did, even if the final product was mismanaged in a way that stopped the song from reaching its full potential; but such is Be Here Now as a whole.

A good example of letting the guitar riffs fill the space instead of the "Na na na na"s comes at 2:35 here

That whole first na-na-na section would probably be gone. The song has two middle-eights, early Oasis would have made it pick one!

Just listened to this demo for the first time. Does anyone know what year it is from? There seems to be no consensus.

I just made an edit of the song which I'm really satisfied with (apart from a chipmunk towards the end), based on the structure of Noel's demo mostly. Is it okay to share it here, or are there rules against that?

It would be way shorter and more streamlined, something closer to Slide Away.

Presumably notably more concise like the on the demo but even that's a slog. That bloody chorus. The 1997 version mixes things up somewhat but 9:38 is ridiculous. Then you've got a reprise to listen too! Dear god. The whole thing wants a good 3 minutes chopping off. And don't even get me started on the production.

This gets me thinking:
The guys wanted to do something big and bold for BHN, which is why there are so many damn guitar layers and compressed production, but just imagine if the focus had been on:
More creative guitar licks, more brass and strings sections, more piano parts, and even dabbling in some electronica and other forms of rock music, while still having some of those loud guitars from MG and DM.
I think that would've set the band up for a great start to the 21st century while still giving them a big and bold finish to a glorious decade for them.

It's only out done by It's Getting Better (Man!!): If that isn't a conversation between two people high on charlie, I don't know what is.
