Eventually will take place without Liam, the NME's one step behind once more.

Enjoyed this with Bonehead last night along with Tim Burgess, Guigsy’s sister Mary, Brian Cannon, and Tony Mc chopped in once or twice.
Also listened to Definitely Maybe in full for the first time in years. Newsflash: it’s still life-affirmingly good!

Guigsy's sister Mary also took part and posted some amazing, never before seen pictures, like a ticket to see The Rain at the Boardwalk and what appears to be a picture of Oasis's first gig at the boardwalk: twitter.com/mary_mcguigan

We actually have a poor quality version of this photo in Kate Arthurs' scrapbook but it's nice to see it in higher resolution. The Rain ticket is new to me though. Don't think I've ever seen a ticket for the Rain. I forget when Liam joined the band but this may be before then (or not)? That info is probably out there...

They never performed as The Rain with Liam, so that ticket would be from before he joined in the summer of 1991. They only played a few shows with Chris Hutton in early 1991.

This was brilliant. Put on the remastered version through the soundbar and one thing that jumped out was the intricacies of some of the playing and wee touches I'd not noticed before.
Mary's pics were great, as was the stuff from Brian Cannon.
