I'd say this is his best solo effort. Very consistent album.

I'm sure it was released on March 2nd. Wiki says both but I categorically remember March 2nd (as he started his tour later that week) and Feb 25th was when it leaked online.
Anyway, it's a good album - a really good one. Probably my least favourite of Noel's solo ones but it's dead close.

Coincidentally it's the 10th anniversary of the Facebook live event to announce the album.

I like this album more and more over the years, it's very consistent, funny that it sounds more like a debut album than HFB.

It definitely checks all the boxes for Oasis fans. Fun record.

My favourite Noel solo songs are all on this album. That half of it is brilliant, some of the best stuff he’s done. The other half is decent.

Can we show some love for lock all the doors? The most underrated Noel song.

It was available to stream on the 25th of February but had already leaked late 13th/early 14th. Physical copies were out on the 2nd of March. Feels a lot longer than five years.

Anyway, it's a good album - a really good one. Probably my least favourite of Noel's solo ones but it's dead close. You’re right. It was released in Japan on 25th February 2015, 6 days after my dearest mum passed away. It was Wednesday and I got a call from a record store where I pre-ordered that I could pick up the record on 24th as they already had it in stock. The entire album was leaked on the night of 13th/14th February and this forum was a madhouse with too many people just signed up for a link like every new release. This is my most favourite solo record by Noel. This record helped me to carry on when I had the hardest time in my life.

Actually the best NGHFB album, the transitions from track to track make this a very smooth listen, unlike moon. Think of The Right Stuff into While The Song Remains the Same and You Know We Cant Go Back into Ballad of the Mighty I.

Messed up my Valentines plan. All good, she's long gone, still have CY Mine as well

I like them all, but this is the best HFB record so far.
And the perfect bridge between NGHFB and WBTM - the sounds on WBTM and the EPs are only a surprise if you haven't heard CY. Holmes might have pushed him along, but it was a direction he was already headed anyway.
On Chasing Yesterday Noel finally gave up the song he'd been rewriting for a decade (Mucky Fingers => Waiting for the Rapture => Dream On, The Turning was also this same song in its original version but it got rearranged into something more interesting thank goodness).
If for whatever reason it all stops tomorrow, we've had Chasing Yesterday and the live shows of the Moon/EP era, and to me that's worth the Oasis split.

Probably my least favourite HFB record, but still decent. In the Heat of the Moment and Ballad of the Mighty I are good tunes.

Very rarely listen to it. Its a weird not cohesive record, like a bad compilation done by a record label without the artist’s consent.
