MANCHESTER United are set to sign the biggest shirt sponsor deal in world football.
Internet poker giants Mansion have tabled a huge £60MILLION four-year offer.
And on the eve of the Carling Cup Final today against Wigan, a United insider confirmed: "Mansion are the front runners. Their offer is a fantastic one and officials here believe the deal should be signed, sealed and delivered before the end of March."
Mansion's £15m-a-year offer to replace current shirt sponsors Vodafone beats Chelsea's £50m five-year deal with electronic giants Samsung.
And it is also £1m more than the current world record £14m-a-year BenQ Mobile pay Real Madrid.
Despite speculation, the deal will NOT include any renaming rights of Old Trafford.
United lose current shirt sponsors Vodafone's £9m-a-year backing at the end of the season.
And Bryan Glazer — son of United's American owner Malcolm — has been instrumental in setting up the new deal, alongside United's commercial director Andy Anson.
Mansion, based in Gibraltar, are major players in the world of internet poker and gambling.
The company recently signed the biggest-ever televised poker deal with American TV giants Fox Sports Network.
Offer
The only other gaming company currently on a Premiership club's shirts are 888.com, who sponsor Middlesbrough.
United have also held talks with United Arab Emirates airline Etihad Airways and Arsenal's current shirt sponsors O2 — but Mansion are the only company with an offer on the table.

Thats a whooooole lotta cash!

LOL. No chance of that happening. But we did play rubbish so i wasn't too bothered that we lost. They way we lost was a real disappointment. I'd have prefered them to have won with any of the 10 chances they missed than with the gerrard backpass. And Alonso should not have been sent off.

Bolton almost held utd to a draw.
they just need a world class central defender, and a good finisher and they'll be set.

Steve McClaren would be a nightmare if Middlesboro are anything to go by! too hit and miss! We would be beating Brazil one minute and losing to the faroe Islands the next
