Acoustic WftR would get my no1 vote. Far superior to the Doys version.

Fuck, Force of Nature might be my pick. Or Waiting for the Rapture.
Not Mucky Fingers though, yuck

When Mucky Fingers plays I'm always looking around the room nervously to make sure my family doesn't start suffering with a headache, or cringe at my taste in music. I actually like the song, except for the awful pounding piano that rips through the whole song. The harmonica section is on another level. Swamp Song level madness.
Waiting for the Rapture I tend to find a little flat. If I'm listening to the album it flows fairly well. But I'd never play it out of context.
Now, Force of Nature, is definitely the strongest of the three in my opinion. I just think the chorus is absolutely mega. Definitely one to belt out in the car. Plus the guitar work is brilliant. Still not one of my favourites though.
If Mucky Fingers ironed out some of its more unpleasant characteristics (the piano, drums and opening vocal) it would definitely be my pick.

Mucky Fingers all the way and I've always liked it. I've never really liked Waiting For The Rapture much. As for The Force Of Nature the song is ok but it's certainly not one of Noel's best.

Force Of Nature is abysmal lol, Mucky Fingers isn't far off. (Two of the reasons HC and DBTT are awful albums)
Waiting For The Rapture for sure.
Edit: Just typing Mucky Fingers and thinking about it is giving me nightmares over that bloody piano lol.

Hardly awful, Mediocre, sure, but I have a soft spot for FON. Please use the quote button ffs. People wonβt know you responded directly to them without it. And FON is shockingly bad. FON seems to get away with hate on here for some reason (unless I've missed it but it should get slagged off as much as ICSAL, PYMWYMI etc.), honestly it's so bad. It's up there with TNOR, AGN etc. for me.

But Force Of Nature is an ok song and it's better than crap like Put Yer Money Where Your Mouth Is and I Can See A Liar.

Waiting For The Rapture is only one of these three songs I turned up right on the street to all people around me without any disturb and fear to be ashamed or shut. I felt like everyone gonna listen to this masterpiece - look at me, don't listen to Russian (c)rap, I'm your Messiah, I got the answer to all your musical tastes. I felt amazing at that time, that riff (even knowin it was ripped off) is such a swagger. I was walking on the street with my smartphone and no one said anything to me. I did it maybe 5 or 6 times during my walk to English lessons. Fantastic feeling tbh. It was like aliens arriving to Earth as Oasis are, honestly speaking, nobody to Russian listeners. Highly doubt I'd try this with FON or MF, it's another (lower) level of Oasis songs

Pretty sure Noel once put FON in his top 5 Oasis songs or something. π
Imagine that did end up being the lead single for HC...

Waiting For The Rapture by far, although I like the acoustic version more than the actual one

Waiting for the Rapture > Mucky Fingers > Force of Nature
And I actually like the piano in Mucky Fingers.
And it's only just occurred to me that he's gotten away with ending Itβs a Beautiful World in a similar way...
I'm fed up with life in the city All the phonies have blown my mind When I'm gone, yeah, you look like you'd miss me So come along with me But don't ask why Cos it's all mine It's all mine It's all mine It's all mine
It's a beautiful dream A beautiful night Itβs a beautiful world When we dance in the light All that is real And all that is mine is right All that is mine is right All that is mine is right All that is mine is right All that is mine is right

I downloaded 'Force Of Nature' from Napster in 2000's...It was different...special...I really love it. I preffer the that demo/ost version than the album version. Waiting ... is great. But...Mucky...is not bad it's just...it's a production thing...not a great composition...but the bass, the guitars, sounds good. Force & Waiting had balls.

I never really got the hate for any of these songs.
But I agree they all lack something, and theyre all too clearly ripping off classic tunes:
FON- Nightclubbing WFTR- Five To One MF- I'm Waiting For the Man
And (but that goes for almost all latter day Oasis songs) the production and arrangements of all these tunes leave more to wish for. As for now I go with Fore Of Nature, it had the most potential

But when the album version came out it wasn't so enjoyable but it's still an ok song.

Mucky Fingers #1 Waiting #2 (as it's one of the stronger songs on the album before it dives off a cliff after Falling Down, excluding the Lady Godiva song) Force of Nature a distant #3

The live version of the song is probably better than the album version.
