Enough about LG’s mid 1990s peak, how about NG?
From 2000 onwards the geezer has gotten exponentially better. Noel, you fucking legend.

I’ve always liked Little By Little from International Magic.

For some reason I always thought SOTSOG was his peak, especially with all the B sides he killed it in that era.

As I'm listening to this right now:
She's Electric, Finsbury 2002
By far my favourite version and top vocals by Noel.

Probably 2005 to nowish. I find Noel's less technical 90s singing almost more appealing. It had a certain charm to it.

Although I really do think noel has pulled of some pretty tasty studio vocal performances, There has always been more draw for me to watch him screaming out DLBIA at the top of his lungs, of his nut whilst also playing lead guitar with a mouth full of wonky teeth.

I really liked his vocals during the acoustic tour with Gem and Terry Kirkbride, in 2006. His voice sounds a big weaker with the High Flying Birds, and for the heavier solo songs I will always prefer Liams voice (and wonder "what if Liam had sung this..") but on songs like Dying Of The Light and teh evrses of The Man Who Built The Moon he sounds fine to me.

I’d say 2005 when he started to bust out of the need to recreate former glories and 2012 once the second half of the first solo tour was underway. His confidence was great and he was pulling all kind of unexpected songs out, like at the RAH gig.

DLBIA from Brit Awards 2007 is best performance, imo.
