Conscious Noel mentioned he’s taking a hiatus after the summer of 2020, and Liam would’ve done touring wmwn around the same time. I’m also aware that Jonny Vaughan’s quip that £8m would be enough for Noel to consider playing an oasis gig or 2. I wonder if all things came to pass, and if an ‘oasis live’ reunion ever happened there would be a better time to do it? I loved oasis live back in the day so would jump at the chance to see them live again. Not necessarily releasing any new material but to see and hear them together again would be great imo

I'm here to offer Oasis(any lineup consisting of Liam and Noel) 25 cents a piece to reunite. A burger king coupon as well. Come on you know.

Not gonna happen and there's no need for it either. I just wish the brothers had an okay relationship again.

I think we will see a 25th anniversary gig, involving one of them, with an open invitation to the other.

I don’t understand all this reunion noise.
Noel does as well as expected as solo artist and Liam clearly rolled two sixes with his solo attempts.
Their albums and concerts are liked by press and fans alike, they both have more relevance than at the end of oasis and at least Noel is enjoying himself more than at any stage after 97.
So why do we need to talk about a reunion all the time when Noel clearly detests Liam at this stage? The split was the best thing to happen for both
Oh and aside of the size, the knebworth concert were not that great

Anything can happen in 20 months, some of our lives could change unrecognisably and so could theirs. Having said that, no. No chance. Not. A. Chance.

...and Liam clearly rolled two sixes with his solo attempts... Yeah, clearly all it took was for him to rock up, sing whatever he can remember/see on the autocue, go get wrecked and back to bed. No work ethic/commitment at all. In what world did this happen?

Bigger chance that they'll play two nights at Maine Road.
I hope Oasis Live At Knebworth gets a release in 2021. Can't believe we still don't have a proper release of it.

Would be cool if one day Noel took his acoustic and Liam his tambourine and they started busking for a bit outside whatever is now where Maine Road was. Just stick it up on YouTube or something for PR then BOOM, announce 3 months' residency for the summer at Knebworth in 2021.

Knebworth needs a proper release, not just the CD/DVD with the gig, they have to do a documentary, interviews, behind the camera, preparation for the show, the situation of the band at the time and of course the gig itself in high quality, everything.

It’s criminal how this hasn’t had a release, the 96 stadium gigs I’m sure we can all say was where Oasis were seriously in the prime of their powers. Unfortunately, I don’t have high hopes if the Oasis management are involved in this. They’ll cut and shut it like mad. They could do so much with this given it’s been over 20 years since the gigs but I’m always let down by certain releases by bands when they release archived footage knowing full well what they have available. Take for instance The Verve Urban Hymns, one of my favourite albums of all time they didn’t release so much that the fans wanted to hear (McCabe ended up leaking them anyway), then the Wigan gig was cut in places and some of the things Ashcroft said on stage at that gig were brilliant. The best examples are what Cast and Ocean Scene have done over the years, they released deluxe versions of their albums with a load of hard to find songs and a full gig on DVD, now I know they aren’t as popular as Oasis and obviously more Oasis media would have been recorded over the years but was still brilliant releases I go back to a lot.

Oasis will reunite with Liam, bonehead, Guigsy, Tony, and a cardboard cutout of Noel. The American audience wouldn't even know the difference.

Is it just me who thinks Knebworth was nowhere near one of their best shows?

Is it just me who thinks Knebworth was nowhere near one of their best shows? I think it was a pivotal gig, but i think Liam's performance sounded far too forcefully nasally in a fair few of the songs, i think Columbia is one of the biggest offenders, sounds like he's taking the piss out of him self vocally.
