I really like the few that they did do. Always wished they'd done more. What do you think?

I’m pretty sure recording more instrumentals rank pretty low on their list of missed opportunities

They should've done more instrumentals like FITB, Fort Know, Swamp Song and less like The Cage, The Ear Has No Memory and A Quick Peep.
C'mon you know x

No.
But Swamp Song, Snakebite, Can You See It Now are all excellent.

While I agree that more instrumentals would be low on the priority list, especially when you’ve got Liam Gallagher on vocals, Oasis did some terrific instrumentals. FITB is one and although many wouldn’t agree I think The Cage and Can Y’See it Now are also great. I would have loved to hear a few more like these.
I don’t think the Swamp Song is objectively speaking very good. The two thirty second snippets work great on MG but the whole thing can be a bit of a struggle to listen through. I think much of it’s value comes from the fact that it’s emblematic of Oasis’ peak days. If you weren’t “there then” or aren’t the level of fan who can conjure up glorious images of Maine Road in an instant then The Swamp Song is mostly just noise that goes on a bit too long. Respectfully stated.

It's very low on the priority list. It's still something to talk about though.

Aside from putting I Can See it Now on DBTT, no.
I think what Oasis needed more of, especially in the post-BHN era, was more Noel-penned songs. I wish we had gotten DOYS that was fleshed out with Noel's original vision of it (plus Liam's Boy With the Blues and I'm Outta Time) and HC that was truly stripped down and acoustic with some electric moments (with Songbird, Hung in a Bad Place and Born on a Different Cloud thrown in there). DBTT was the one album where the collaborative approach worked and even then, I think it would've worked with just Noel penning most of the songs, Liam contributing Guess God Thinks I'm Abel and Pass Me Down the Wine, Gem contributing Eyeball Tickler, and Andy contributing a not-so overdone with "La"s Keep the Dream Alive.
But that's if and buts, the answer to the question is no.

Would’ve just been filler. They didn’t need anymore filler.

What if they were good? Why do you assume they'd be filler?

No. Same with fucking remixes.

To me, the only instrumental that wasn't a filler was FITB. The rest said and meant nothing to me artistically. So if anything, I think they should have done less.
Fort Knox was the best instrumental Noel's ever done. Don't @ me.

The instrumentals they’ve done are pretty good I think but do they serve any purpose on the albums or live? Apart from FITB, obviously.
Also, The Swamp Song is an incredibly shit set opener, especially when you’ve got the likes of Rock ‘N’ Roll star at your hands.
