This video sucks. Christmas is canceled. Have to agree. So struggling mother is a shoplifter. What a brilliant Christmas message. If your broke just go on the Rob. Fuck it. Having a little business and seeing people half inch my stock...this really really pisses me off. Think Noel hit a bum note with this wank video for me personally. Next video...how to get tickets to a Noel gig..just punch someone in the que and take them. Sorted ha ha |

Even if there is a well-intentioned Christmas message behind the video, the actual execution of it is terrible. Still I can just file it in with the rest of what Noel's done in the past few years and ignore it.

What did you think of The Grapes Of Wrath? ‘Struggling family move to makeshift camp and become freeloading bastards’? Maybe telling us to have consideration for people in such distress that it causes them to make such decisions? Nobodies perfect, but at the very least it’s allowing us to empathise with the plight of others. It just highlights the deprivation of ‘goodwill to all’ at that time of the year. Larks with the homeless man drive this point home. |

Noel's message isn't to shoplift, it's to remember that not everyone has an easy time as one self and thus be thankful for what you have. I'll be thinking specifically of you and your hard labour when I sit my wealthy healthy family round my expensive dining table in my millionaire mansion for Christmas and I'll be thankful for what I have and I'll be aware that everyone has their own weight to carry no matter where we are in society xx P.S. My mum and dad aren't coming for Christmas as my mum who is 65 has Alzheimer's and can't even speak (her birthday is December 25th) and my dad who is 73 has ALS and is basically paralysed. |
