Oasis/Gallagher name? Serious question. Notice how every Oasis/Liam/Noel album went straight to number 1, where as the Beady eye albums didn't. I wonder if the name had something to do with it. Would casual fans not give them any attention.

Honestly, I think it would’ve ended worse for Liam had he gone down that road at that time. Both the songs and Liam’s voice weren’t good enough. Additionally, people forget he wasn’t publicly likeable. He was arrogant and bitter. I believe he had to go through that professional failure, along with the personal strife, in order to come out the other end a better and more humble person.
