All right, now I’m getting a bit hyped. I’m in need of some new Gallagher material.

Imagine if the HFB version of Come On Outside has Liam on vocals and nobody knows until it's released. This forum would implode.

Imagine if the HFB version of Come On Outside has Liam on vocals and nobody knows until it's released. This forum would implode. Now this is a conspiracy theory about pushing back the release date worth posting on this forum! Noel had to push back the release date not because of vinyl pressing delays or to line up with yet to be announced shows at the time but in order to get Liam into the studio to re-record the lead vocals at the last minute. Love it -- that is some Internet rumor spreading at its finest (I mean this in the most lol/non-sarcastic way possible).

We should savor this time. Two more tracks coming before a very long extended break from Noel.

We should savor this time. Two more tracks coming before a very long extended break from Noel. The 'extended break' will just turn out to be a couple of years out from touring. In truth Noel has probably overdone the touring in the last few years so I'm not surprised he's sick of it. 2014 was the last year that he didn't play a single gig in the calendar year, fair play if he wants a break. Get rested, enjoy the break, slowly write the next Oasis record.

Would make a killer opener if it’s anything like the demo The demo is brilliant...loved it as soon as I heard it. Hoping not to pissed about with like Record Machine...missing solo's etc .

We should savor this time. Two more tracks coming before a very long extended break from Noel. Seems like a seriously slow news time for the Gallagher's at the mo. Hence were all getting excited at the scraps ha ha. I keep checking the forum like a pissing junkie....

It will be camelphat's album. Noel's contributed something to it or played on a track. Think Kasabian are meant to feature on it too

Collaboration on their debut album? He did say that he loved Cola and wished he’d written it. X

I wonder how Come On Outside will differ from the Demo version. Amazing how the first incarnation of it was slated to be the lead single off DOYS. 12 years later it gets justice.

Imagine if the HFB version of Come On Outside has Liam on vocals and nobody knows until it's released. This forum would implode. I think that demo is basically the full Dig Out Your Soul studio version of Come On Outside barring Liam's vocals. It has a choir on it which is a bit elaborate for a demo and just feels generally as if it was recorded during those sessions. How does Noel change it up I wonder? Hope he's thrown some serious production efforts behind it. By rights, we should have been listening to this in August-October 2008 and not the first few months of (*checks the year*), 2020.

Hope he's thrown some serious production efforts behind it. By rights, we should have been listening to this in August-October 2008 and not the first few months of (*checks the year*), 2020. I have a feeling the demo we know from 2013 gifting by joakim (from a 2010 demo CD) is not from the DOYS sessions. Back in 2008 Noel referred only to this song as “Come On, Its Alright”. Then in August 2011 interview with jeffslate Noel referenced that song now titled as “Come On Outside” and would appear on potentially his second solo LP. Makes me think Noel further tweaked the song between 2007 and 2010. We know Noel brought the choir back in for a handful of HFB tracks (EOTR, RM and STC). He could have easily have applied that treatment to Come On Outside too. Now this is all deep speculation. Others might have better inside info. A convo with Jeff from 8 fucking years ago........ Nah. He made it clear those are his songs ("I have a LOT of songs from that time" in simple demo form) are his and he's going to do something with them himself. For instance "Come On It's Alright" (now called Come On Outside") and "God Help Us All" and "Don't Stop The Happening" were worked on during the sessions for this album and he just ran out of steam after being in the studio for a year, but they will be on the 2 planned albums AFTER the AA album.

All I'm wishing for regarding Come On Outside is good vocals. The less whiny and the more aggressive, the better.
