Noel needs to take a lesson from Coldplay and start announcing a month or two in advance in a low-key fashion. Release some details and then give some material to tease it about a couple weeks after you start dropping details, then tell all and build up the hype. Waiting 4-6 months just doesn't work these days where technology has caused people's attention spans to drop and has caused people to want things either now or three minutes ago. How management handles the legacy of a band’s music is vital to their ongoing popularity. Apple Corps have played blinders with The Beatles, rereleasing music in modern stereo, the remasters from 10 years ago, releasing all music on Apple and Spotify but also incorporating visual media for songs with video releases of older tunes on YouTube (for instance, I watched a video on YouTube for Words of Love from Beatles For Sale - hardly a massive song for them (indeed it’s a cover) but it still finds ways of using new media to reach out to all sorts of audiences for even the most obscure songs. All this is staggered y year, younger fans are being exposed to new content from a band that broke up 50 years ago. Quality music on its own isn’t enough to sustain popularity, thus smart marketing strategies massively help. Oasis meanwhile lacked all their b-sides on streaming services until recently (strangely coinciding when this website complained about it), and a hit single like Whatever wasn’t widely available until 9 years ago on Time Flies. It’s so befuddled in its thinking. The Here Comes The Sun video was beautiful.

Lyrics are intense as fuck. These are fucking great: When the night is falling And the land is cold And that secret you found in your pocket, will remain untold There's a storm out on the horizon And it's coming our way By the light of the blue moon rising Should we just run away? Well I'll meet you down on the corner Where our hopes and dreams were sold By the forewind and the loner On the streets we paved with gold The deeper that you get The more that you regret Living on the edge of the night But the blazing sunset in your eyes It means more to me than life Cause you make me feel electric Beauty and truth is hard to find Some of you (??) That’s all from the 90 sec preview correct? Would be awesome if you had the full song. An entire nation of japan had it for 24 hours. Somebody has to have it.

I have thoroughly been listening to that 90sec preview to infinity. But yes, correct. All from the 90sec preview.

Its way more melodic than titp or bsd imo. Atleast the chorus and the verses are catchy enough. The part it goes 'The deeper that you get the more that you regret'' sounds very familiar too

Free mashup idea (not that I endorse mashups): Blue Moon Rising vs Obesssion by Animotion == Blue Moon Obsession. You're welcome. I'll see my self out.

The versus take awhile to go anywhere. But when they do, based on preview, it seems worth it. If Noel is gonna go down the disco-esque route, this is what I want to hear. Explosive meolodic choruses.

This is most likely gonna be Noels best cosmic pop song.

Does anyone know the song that Johnny Marr played on but was left off Who Built The Moon (one that David Holmes wanted left on?). Has it already been released?

As of yet unreleased, but see my quote above, it sounds like the other stuff Marr played on went unfinished. I think the song Holmes really wanted to include was probably TITP. I’m still keen to hear the Lou Reed Heroin song Noel mentioned too. Plenty of material lying around waiting to be added to this upcoming double album... X

Sounds pretty bloody good. Looking forward to hearing the full thing. Good groove, melody and it's not overcrowded with noises.

'The Dentist' was an unfinished track from the WBTM? sessions. There a sound very reminiscent to a dentist drill in 'Evil Flower' but that might just be a coincidence.
