I remembered the itunes previews only the 30 sec clip. I think the 1:30 version came from a leak or something.. The iTunes previews have been 1:30 long for a few years now. I think that the web preview is 30 seconds, but the in-app preview is 1:30 long. When the previews of the Mustique demos "leaked" back in August 2016, I personally ripped them from iTunes and they were 1:30 long I remember listening to those 90-second clips of the Mustique demos back in the summer 3 years ago & being surprised how amazing they sounded. I didn't know it was your work so thanks belatedly! 😉

I think this guy just got a listen to the entire song.. I mean was this released initially? we'll just hope he got it Well we know the song was added to iTunes Japan by mistake for several hours and has been downloaded by people on reddit and twitter. The question now is will it be shared? It’s impressive it has not popped up anywhere yet.

So there’s confirmation people did get the whole song?! I’m not waiting four months for this, we need to get these people to share it soon.

Some people in Japan were able to download only Blue Moon Rising when it was up on Japanese streaming site for a couple of hours before Noel's management deleted all of them. and no, it's not been shared.

What’s baffling is Noel’s management continues to be the dumbest people on the planet. This reminds me of announcing Chasing Yesterday six months early. Now we have a four month wait for 3 songs we’ve heard. Lost my shit to this (laughing my ass off) for 5 minutes straight because there's potential this might be true 😂😂

Lost my shit to this (laughing my ass off) for 5 minutes straight because there's potential this might be true 😂😂 In another thread I mentioned how I don’t even know if an Oasis comeback single could get to #1. It’s examples like this that make me question that prospect. It’s not the music or the fans, it’s the management and their yesteryear approach to promotion and releases. Baffles the mind. 1996 forever!

On another note, I had the 1:30 preview, but deleted it. I've continually hated myself since deleting a day after the preview leaked.
Edit: Just found the 1080p video I rendered of the audio. Don't know what to do with it to be honest since Sour Mash/Ignition are on the hunt for every snippet.

An entire nation had the ability to download it for almost 24 hours. Shit, that Coldplay album leaked and was everywhere within 5 hours of the leak. Still up in most frequented leak sites. Yet we can’t get this song?!?!?

This title reminds me of this absolute gem from Big Star.

Just listened to the 90 second preview and I look forward to the vast difference in opinions when it is fully released.
Sounds like Chem Brothers with a hint of Depeche Mode in there.

Release some details and then give some material to tease it about a couple weeks after you start dropping details, then tell all and build up the hype. Waiting 4-6 months just doesn't work these days where technology has caused people's attention spans to drop and has caused people to want things either now or three minutes ago.

Is it not possible that although it looked like the track was available to buy in Japan, it actually wasn't available to buy?
I can't believe that in 2019 a new track by Noel Gallagher that was available for purchase, wasn't immediately bought and shared online.

He posted this 12hours ago. It´s unavailable for him right now. By the way, he answered in twitter that he likes it more than Black Star Dancing, but he could only listened during one day

Translation: He posted on his twitter account why he was able to listen to the song on spotify and iTunes was caused by some system fault (a humanity fault?) and now he knows that this song is yet to be released.

How management handles the legacy of a band’s music is vital to their ongoing popularity. Apple Corps have played blinders with The Beatles, rereleasing music in modern stereo, the remasters from 10 years ago, releasing all music on Apple and Spotify but also incorporating visual media for songs with video releases of older tunes on YouTube (for instance, I watched a video on YouTube for Words of Love from Beatles For Sale - hardly a massive song for them (indeed it’s a cover) but it still finds ways of using new media to reach out to all sorts of audiences for even the most obscure songs. All this is staggered y year, younger fans are being exposed to new content from a band that broke up 50 years ago. Quality music on its own isn’t enough to sustain popularity, thus smart marketing strategies massively help. Oasis meanwhile lacked all their b-sides on streaming services until recently (strangely coinciding when this website complained about it), and a hit single like Whatever wasn’t widely available until 9 years ago on Time Flies. It’s so befuddled in its thinking.

It’s so befuddled in its thinking. Very true, and they've done well to shine a new light on old material through new iterations and looks at the material. I think Noel and the Oasis management missed an opportunity with the BHN re-master in only giving the DYKWIM the "Let it Be...Naked" treatment. They should've done it for the whole album and then released a song like I Hope I Think I Know with that treatment as a single to build the hype and done one or two more HD-remastered videos, like what they did with the DYKWIM video. Instead, we just got the one remastered video and treated song, some demos (which are still pretty good), and the remastered album, while most of the Oasis B-sides remain unavailable in a huge market like the U.S. and not that I have a problem with the boys having a song that has such a cultural impact, but most people only hype Wonderwall and do so to absurd proportions. To quote someone on here, fuck you Noel.

To quote someone on here, fuck you Noel. I think the main difference between the Beatles remasters and Oasis one is that Noel has to do it himself / doesnt want to do it, whereas for the Beatles, bar Let It be Naked, Macca has let other people do the job for him, only overseeeing from afar. That's a big difference. Noel doesnt want some random stranger remixing his discography and has no desire to do it. So it cant happen. He's trying to distance himself as far as Oasis as he possibly can, Macca has been living on the Beatles for 25 years now.

Lyrics are intense as fuck. These are fucking great:
When the night is falling And the land is cold And that secret you found in your pocket, will remain untold
There's a storm out on the horizon And it's coming our way By the light of the blue moon rising Should we just run away?
Well I'll meet you down on the corner Where our hopes and dreams were sold By the forewind and the loner On the streets we paved with gold
The deeper that you get The more that you regret Living on the edge of the night But the blazing sunset in your eyes It means more to me than life
Cause you make me feel electric Beauty and truth is hard to find Some of you (??)
