I've seen a few bootleg DVDs that I really fancy getting, especially one with Standing On The Edge Of The Noise and the iTunes Festival gig, but I've always been a bit dubious cos of quality etc. Would you say they're worth getting? What have your experiences been like with them?

I think it's the same as any audio bootleg, try before you buy. Some bootlegs sound like they were recorded in the bog at Earls Court on a potato, others are official quality. Same goes for DVDs.
I've got a few, aim for pro-shot shows first, then if you like what you've got, venture into the world of audience recordings. I'm not knowledgable on audience shot shows.
Recommendations: Maine Road 1996, G-Mex Manchester 1997, Tokyo 1998, 22/07/2000 Wembley Stadium second night, Glasgow Barrowlands 2001.

^^ don’t forget Buenos Aires 2009! One of their best gigs of the second half of their career.

As already mentioned above,
- Barrowlands 2001 - Algentina 2009
I would add
- MTV Super Dry 2002 - Tokyo 2002
