www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/proginfo/search?medium=tv&channel=&yearweek=201947&day=Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds return to the show with music from two of the three EPs he plans to release this year. This Is The Place and Black Star Dancing build upon the new sounds of his first two solo records. The latter is a disco single praised by Nile Rodgers which sees him step further from the guitar-driven music of his former band Oasis.

Seems daft to not play Wandering Star at least? X

this got to be a joke. I have no interest at all in hearing those tunes which have been out for months now. Come on Noel...

FFS. Why don't you just watch it first before criticising.
Bloody hell.
It'll also be the first actual proper recording of This Is The Place live so I for one will be happy to see that too.

So this was obviously taped before the Birds went to Australia this week. They don’t return until December.

Then people should know what was played. Speak audience members! maybe they signed an NDA From my experience of going to late night taped shows that air in the future there is no such NDA. Maybe things are different in the UK. Or maybe nobody who went is a member here or comes here or feels the need to share the info.

Love a bit of Jools, me. Mind you, his Hootenanny line-up was a bit rubbish last year.

People who go to those shows are usually pretty random, so it's not surprise no one rushed here to talk about Noel.
