Give him a chance guys, he scored 15 in all competitions last year our top scorers could only manage 13 and he played in a terrible team last year. His height will cause some defenses major problems and his control is good for a big guy.
Dont judge him before he's played, im confident he will be a success.

how much is he costing? 7 million is it? and they are willing to let baros who was their top scorer last season go? i cant understand that myself.

Baros was our joint top scorer with Garcia & Gerrard, Baros is such a frustrating player though, yeah he got 13 goals but he should have scored alot more. Another fact about Baros last year every goal he scored in the league was against a team who at the time were in the bottom half of the table.

See how many untouched crosses we got in against TNS?! If Crouch was there, he'd try and get to em. I think Rafa will prove everyone wrong again.
He made stars out of Biscan and Traore for gods sake.. He's a miracle worker lol

i think he'll do alright, not fantastic, but alright
£7m does seem a bit steep, but i suppose that's the economics of supply and demand... not too many 7'6" gangly donkeys kicking 'round the place!

Don't get me started on that waste of space I've got a feeling he'll come good though this season, he can't play him up on his own though, he can't do the lone striker role.

Liverpool's first team photo after signing Crouch Classic! On a more serious note i think Crouch will be a good signing for Liverpool. I can see him getting on plenty of them Riise bullet type crosses. If you can get Luis Figo in, stick him on the right wing and get him to hold a few Beckham-esqe crosses towards the far post and Crouch will win you a lot of games next season. I mean it's not like your strikers have been firing is it? Milan Baros? I'm sure that guy has a weight on his chin. Djibril Cisse? Still finding his feet after a terrible injury. I can see him being turned into a right-winger, to be honest. Morientes? The guy has it but he doesn't look tough enough for the Prem right now but he knows where the back of the net is. Give him a chance.

Crouch will probably not play every game.
Cisse & Morientes should be first choice.
He's not a bad player, but he wouldnt of been my first choice to buy.
We now have options, Crouch, Cisse, Morientes and Sinama Pongolle - all different types of players.
Mellor and Baros will probably be off before the season gets underway.
In Rafa we trust!
