I'm guessing a Vocoder or some contentious shit like that. I like vocoders

Sunday Morning Call acoustic Lamcacq version + The Girl with the X Ray Eyes + an element that if he's kept it will send this page into absolute meltdown and cause Liam to tweet about it = Wandering Star I respect the info mate, I really do... but Sunday Morning Call + Girl With X Ray Eyes?!?! Do two negatives make a positive?!

Lyrics could be better but who cares ? In turn, Sunday Morning Call has a very good melody but somehow manages to be incredibly boring anyway

So this prob won’t drop Friday unless some sort of teaser drops tomorrow. I’d say the following Friday for sure.

We know that Noel mentioned he wanted Tony Walsh doing spoken word... We thought he might mean Evil Flower but really he did say that Walsh 'would be doing' it. So it could easily be on Wandering Star/one of the songs. We'll soon find out! That wouldn’t have been recorded at the time Simmo heard the demo though... X

Sunday Morning Call and X-Ray Eyes are light years better than the electronic garbage like Evil Flower. Let’s hope it’s a return to form!

What is the Sunday morning call Lamacq version? Its like the shit album version but live. I do like that version tbf It's a weird one Sunday Morning Call. I never actively choose to listen to it, but if I'm listening to SOTSOG on a run or something or in the car then I really enjoy it. And I really enjoy playing it.

Are we getting an auto-tuned NG song?! We’ve had plenty of those already. And not well-done auto tune either

So the "still being worked on at the time" version I heard (which was studio recorded but unfinished - not a demo) was classic Noel, beautiful melody, but with an element that is gonna send this page into meltdown. What a tease 😂

I feel the same about it, boring but kind of nice. My Dad once commented on how he liked it. Dadrock indeed! Now I'm the Dad making my son listen to Oasis

What a tease 😂 Maybe it's Ysee actually singing instead of wailing, now that would be sensational. 😁

About the shocking element, maybe it's something more simple, like some verse with lyrics explicitly aimed at Liam.
Or it could be something bigger, maybe it's sung by a girl and doesn't feature Noel's voice at all.

To be honest I like both Girl With X Ray Eyes and Sunday Morning Call 😁
I have a feeling this song will be traditional Noel with some heavily processed vocal or something unorthodox to his style, but inevitably still classic Noel regardless.

I hope this song joins the elite club of recent Gallagher songs that became an important part of my life. The others are Dead in the Water, Sail On, A Dream is All I Need, and Once. Those songs found me right when I needed them. They are like members of my family now and I have an unbreakable emotional connection to them.

I really like DITW, ADIAIN and Once but in my opinion Sail on is massively overrated, it almost sounds like a James blunt song ffs

Those songs found me right when I needed them. They are like members of my family now and I have an unbreakable emotional connection to them. Dead In The Water was the last song to make me cry*. Still does sometimes. The never giving up on something, no matter what is chucked at you, is a trait that is rare and to articulate it so well metaphorically is stunning. The promised land lyric hit me hard too because it’s a term I use when referring to my anticipated future. I too have an emotional bond with this song. I love that Noel still writes in his classic style while also doing his new thing. I really really want Wandering Star to hurt me, in a good way. *I think Liam’s CS on radio piano session came pretty close
