honestly like none of them really do. i've been thinking about this and i can't think of any. I agree. Waiting for the Rapture might be the closest for me but no American ever heard an oasis tune and thought it was an American band. As far as American bands doing a song like oasis, I always thought BRMC's All You Do is Talk feels like an oasis.

Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is. It's basically Roadhouse Blues by the Doors if you sped it up by like 25%. On that thread, I've long-thought that Put Yer Money... could've been a good song with better lyrics, less cluttered production and a better guitar solo. It has the makings to be a good electronically-influenced rock song but it hits about as hard as a wet fart once it's all done.
