Now I haven't listened to Shockwave in a while, I'm finding it better than I remember. But still I find it a little.....underwhelming.
It isn't bad, but wouldn't have been my choice for lead single. I'm guessing they wanted a stomping rocker along the lines of 'Wall of Glass' after that went down so well, and 'The River' was probably deemed too heavy for radio. So i guess it was between that, 'Halo' and 'Be Still'.
Rumours are a ballad is earmarked as the first single of the next LP though, so looks as if we're in for a change.

Was any song on the last album 100% (or let's say 95%) written by Liam? Feel like I've not had a proper LG tune since All I Need. Just through listening to the album I get the impression that Liam possibly didn't write the core to any of these songs. One or two on the back end of the record sound somewhat Liam-esque but I'm not overly convinced. Shame.

Ye i dont know, its just Rolo recently said about an upcoming video shoot for a ballad written with Simon Aldred. Thats all ive heard - it might be a standalone single, might be a video for the album's 2nd or 3rd single etc. Time will tell.

But I'm looking forward to hearing it whether it's the first single off the new album or not.

More songs like invisible sun please. I found with both albums that some of the bonus tracks were among my favourites. Doesn't Have To Be That Way on As You Were, then Invisible Sun and Misunderstood on WMWN. Maybe it will become a trend for Liam, like Oasis had with memorable b-sides?

I hope this album isn't called "Come On You Know". I mean, it's pretty self-explanatory why I think that... anyway, I also hope that the songs flow better. I like Gone as a closer, but putting Once and One of Us so high in the tracklisting was an... interesting decision. Once definitely gives me end-of-album vibes, if not album closer.

More songs like invisible sun please. Yep. Wall of Glass, Come Back to Me, Invisible Sun. Liam's knocked it out of the part when singing with a bassier, groovier sound. Would love a lot more of those and a lot less of Shockwave/Now That I've Found You on LP3.

I fucking hate people who go, "Come on". (Liam in an old Q magazine interview )

If that was a Gary Barlow song we'd all laugh.

I agree with you about the Come On You Know title for Liam's third album. I like the titles for his first two albums but the next one should be something a bit more adventurous than Come On You Know.

I don't mind Now I've Found You but it isn't the best song on Why Me Why Not or even one of the best for that matter.

I like NTIFY, its decent enough. Never lived up to hype it got before release though for me. See also Be Still.

NTIFY is actually one of my favourite Liam's tunes Yes, it's poppy, but I find it meaningful and quite uplifting

Oh I don't hate Now That I've Found You and I do enjoy it whenever I'm listening to Why Me Why Not. It's just a bit too poppy that's all.

Think Come On You Know works well in relation to the first two albums, simple but effective.

I don't think new album will be called «Come On You Know» - it's just boring and very average name. Remember how Liam wrote it in Twitter? «C'mon you know». So expect this form of name to this album. And this is much better than «Come On You Know». maybe it's just a nonsense stuff no one will pay attention but that makes sense IMO

I agree with you that Come On You Know doesn't make sense for an album title. Maybe a title of a song would perhaps work on the new album or a lyric in a song. But not for an album title.
