Noel has become such a twisted figure. 

Maybe he was one all along, if we are to believe past Oasis members (hell, even Paul Weller once said that's he's pathological liar)-- it's just that it's more pronounced when he's grasping at straws at the moment:

"Unsophisticated music for unsophisticated people";

delving out criticism for another's lyrics;

the petty, teenage instagram-y spat with that Capaldi fellow;

the desperate plea for public favor by divulging a supposed threat from Liam to his daughter through a private text message-- as if any half-conscious being could not extrapolate from it a thinly veiled telling off of his wife to calm her tits;

etc etc. 

Of all the people of Oasis' past, I trust Andy Bell the most and see him as a stand-up guy with utmost integrity, and I believed him when he said this about Noel:

He lied about a lot of things. The argument about Pretty Green was lies, what he said about V Festival and the fake laryngitis was lies – I don’t know, maybe he’s convinced that’s the truth. I don’t know what goes on in his head. I know him, so I’m not disappointed. That’s what he’s like. I know how he spins the press. He’s used the press for years.



I know, it's hard to break old habits, especially when you're not leveled, when you're free-falling, on the way down artistically, not to mention morally.
