We've had a lot of music since Oasis broke up. Also a lot of division of opinion over the brothers' music since. But what song for each of BE, LG, NGHFB is accepted most here? Maybe not the consensus favourite, but accepted as "Well everything this band/brother has done is ass, but I can at least get on board for this one song." Please note that quote is not mine, I like almost everything they've both done. Its more kind of showing that even the biggest critic has to at least like something. What is it?
There is no way I am going to look at every poll of every song. And making polls of every single song released since is also too much work. So I am going to go off of memory based on many conversations or threads. Let's see if I'm right, or if not, let's see what is.
Beady Eye: This is the easiest. It's one of Four Letter Word or Flick of the Finger. I'd be shocked if there were another contender here. In picking one, my ultimate guess is Four Letter Word.
Liam Gallagher: Gotta think its Bold, Wall of Glass and I've All I Need as the contenders in that order. I think the answer is Bold, but it could be Wall of Glass.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds: I think this is the toughest to figure out by a long shot. Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen anything negative said about The Man Who Built the Moon. I think The Riverman is well liked/respected. Same for Everybody's On the Run. I also feel there is universal love for Alone On the Rope and to a lesser extent Dead in the Water. Broken Arrow?
So what are they? Again, its not so much what is your favourite, its more like, what can this crazy band of idiots tolerate the most?

I left out WAL cause while many like it, there are some that find it "too disco", which automatically also eliminated TBOTMI. I also left out IIHAG and then TDOTL cause some classify it as "Noel trying to write a 90s Oasis song and failing". |

It makes you realise how diverse Noels output has been and how many great tunes we've actually been treated to over the past 10 years from all three segments.
This would be my shortlist:
BE: Four Letter Word, Soul Love, World Outside My Room
LG: It Doesn't Have To Be That Way, One Of Us, Wall Of Glass
NGHFB: The Death Of You And Me, Broken Arrow, You Know We Can't Go Back, Sail On, Ballad Of The Mighty I, The Right Stuff, Freaky Teeth, Alone On A Rope, Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me

I’m the only one who dislikes FLW as far as I know.
Flick of the Finger however is terrific. That along with World Outside My Room are the best BE songs in my opinion.

One thing I will say is I think the usual consensus of this forum isnt what the general fanbase thinks. Songs like FWIW are really popular, but heavily criticised on here.

PS: Funny thing i noticed when making this. I decided to listen to Flick Of The Finger and searched it on YouTube. Ironically, or not, an only audio version with just the album cover as a background was uploaded in July 2017 by the official Beady Eye channel. Liam was already doing his solo thing then but for some reason that was uploaded again.

I think the three most critically acclaimed Beady Eye songs even by the harshest BE critics are Four Letter Word, Flick of the Finger, and Off at the Next Exit.
