Includes an article on Definitely Maybe. Not particularly long but does include new interviews / comments from McGee, Mark Coyle and Anjali Dutt. Also there is an interview with Michael Spencer Jones talking about some of the Oasis and Verve covers. Issue 30 of Long Live VinylSorry I don't have a scanner for those about to ask!

By the way, can anyone shed some light on what is/was the relationship between Brian Cannon and Michael Spencer Jones?
I've always thought Brian was the designer (i.e the one who came up with ideas/etc) and Micheal the actual photographer, but it's quite strange that one never mentions the other in interviews or social media posts.

Was wondering this too... They definitely worked together at the photo shoots. Here is a picture of Brian (and Owen Morris) holding the frame around Liam for the first attempt at the Wonderwall single cover: I wish I could find it, but I remember recently there being a rift between them on social media (Brian responded to something MSJ said about designing the covers of Oasis albums, which Brian Cannon disagreed with). It seemed like there must have been a bit of a falling out between them over who was responsible for what. Clearly Brian owned a design company (and still does) so you would think the ideas would have originated with him. However, once shooting starts, I suppose ideas could flow from anywhere, leading MSJ to claim he is also responsible for some of the designs. Will continue to search for the comment by Brian.

Some interesting comments there from Anjali Dutt about the Noel / Mark Coyle and Liam / Bonehead / Guigsy / Tony camps within the band.

I really found the investigation they did on the drummer who was brought in for Bring It On Down very interesting. I had never heard anyone before claim it was Steve/Alan White as the interviewees seem to recall. It makes sense, as they concluded, that it was the drummer from the Real People. I'm not sure that Noel had even met Paul Weller yet by late 1993/early 1994. Edit: According to this tweet from MSJ, Noel didn't meet Weller until August, 1994.

It was Garcia, not Cannon: Thanks. I could have sworn I remember seeing that someone asked Brian Cannon about it in a comment on one of his posts on Instagram or Twitter and he basically responded with something like "Oh yeah?", but I might be mistaken. Regardless, something has always felt a bit off about MSJ. He never takes part in any of the official interviews like Supersonic. Something is going on there.

I had a look and Michael Spencer Jones often answers questions on twitter, and shares little details of the photo shoots.
