I am not even bothering with this or any future films in the franchise. It's everything that is currently wrong with the modern action movie. And these types of action films are basically all we're getting at this point. Even big projects, like Star Wars is being diseased by this over the top action + surface level characterizations + weak plot formula. It's like the producers think, "Yeah it's not that in-depth ... but EXPLOSIONS! Oooo Ahhhh!"
