Nah, it's all to do with the sound set up from the guys themselves. In the early days, Oasis had Epiphone guitars that cost 500 dollars and amps that were mid-market range. The Live By the Sea is the muddiest Oasis ever was, sound very round, thick. It's just how they play the songs, it's got nothing to do with crew. they're just too light and nice. their playing style dont suit the Oasis sound. Aah gotcha, so equipment is irrelevant right? I know that they’re kinda encouraged to be wallpaper rather than express themselves. When Wyatt performed at Glasto he showed his personality through his playing, I don’t think the band can do this. There’s more to at least some of them than we get to see. Well it depends, Gibson guitars have a ready thick and round sound, when Fender for instance are more dry. So i wouldn't say a good equipement cant help. But give a good Fender to a shit guitarist and he wont make a Coxon out of it, if you know what i mean. you gotta ride the bike, it wont move on its own, no matter how expensive it is. They're not all bad, just a bit bland. and I doubt they're playing with shitty gear anyway. NG has Mike Rowe and that bass player, both sessions and tour musicians, both amazing.

I was waiting on the young 'Liam' cracking the other kid on the back of the legs with that stick.

I was crying a little bit. Video is emotional shit. Brothers' relationships are very sad today. Can't watch this without sorrow because of Gallaghers' background

Also the drum groove reminds me of Brainstorm Interlude. Intentional homage? The whole song is pretty Vervey.

Wow amazing video and so incredibly sad. Liam is so obsessed with the idea of getting Noel back and Noel is such a prick so he keeps ignoring him. Really great stuff, Liam’s absolutely murdering Noel these days music wise

Is it a coincidence there are ponys in the video? Homage to Paul Weller?

Is it a coincidence there are ponys in the video? Homage to Paul Weller? Liam likes Deftones or maybe Taylor Swift?!?

I didn’t find it sad or emotional, I think they pitched it just right.
Acknowledgement of great times in the past and a new way forward.

Wow amazing video and so incredibly sad. Liam is so obsessed with the idea of getting Noel back and Noel is such a prick so he keeps ignoring him. Really great stuff, Liam’s absolutely murdering Noel these days music wise Well, to be fair, Liam has done his fair share to get the relationship where it is. Some of the stuff he tweets I think is him just half joking/half pushing Noel's buttons. But things like all the potato references, I could see Noel getting past. But I can't blame Noel for being mad at Liam when he does things like texting Noel's daughter to threaten his wife. The sad thing is that I don't think Liam really means that stuff in the end. I think it's more just him reacting to his anger in the heat of the moment instead of waiting until he calms down. Looking at the video, I think we can get a sense of what's in Liam's heart about Noel. Sadly, I think Noel will just see it as Liam using him and their relationship to get attention on his music. And man, especially today, does that make me sad.

This is the kind of quality video that all Liam’s singles deserve, and they should be out on the day the music comes out. I hope he works with this team again.

Video: Heavy stuff, very emotional, I think it will get a lot attention. But I wonder if this is the right way to make a call to an estranged brother. It could be seen as a sellout of a family drama to gain commercial success. What do you think?

Ehm I find it creepy. Like its nostalgia just for nostalgia sake. No one has died. Oasis has. It was the 10 year anniversary.

Let me guess, if Noel made this video it would be life changing.... a friendship died, a brotherhood... Ehm I find it creepy. Like its nostalgia just for nostalgia sake. No one has died.

Great video, really adds to the atmosphere of the tune! Loved seeing Liam's childhood photos and that one where he sits on the scooter - that has to be my favourite Liam look (DM era I think).

As far as vids go it's all very stylish and well done and what not. And I really like the song.
I'm just sick of all the fucking cry arsing about Noel and their relationship. They've both done nothing but damage it in the last year so putting out some soppy dramatic vid's just a bit tired.
Anyway, still love the tune.

That video is both sad and sad. I totally agree. The theme is sad and it's sad they're marketing it being about Noel/Oasis. I read some reviewers saying it was a desperate attempt to sugar up to Noel and I thought that was pretty stupid and cringeworrhy as it was about his daughter, but it turns out they were right.
