So good good people from Warner, where's the instant download code to this song for those who pre-ordered the single? You can't make this "mistake" over and over, can you?

Hey, I just recorded two guitar solos over this outro, I was curious how it sounds I think I fucking overplayd it but it was raw improvisation. clyp.it/cmp4jrkwCheers. Love it especially the 1st!

I've only listened to it twice but I like it, maybe it will get better with more listens.
The melody is good and it sounds different and fresh, even the outro sounds interesting. But the vocals are a bit weak compared to the rest of the songs we've listened from the album so far. Love the verses, but in the chorus they remind me a bit of the BE era.
But yeah, definitely a refreshing sound from Liam, can't complain.
On a side note, its always surprising how low most people rate The River, it sounds amazing to me! Hoping for more of that type of sounds on the album.

So, let me get this straight. They sell the vinyl with no cover art, despite promoting it on social media, and then promote custom made covers on the same official social media. Talk about trying to squeeze every penny out of your fans. Glad i don't collect vinyl. http://instagram.com/p/B1TkhTglZlg

I wish we could ditch this awful trend for tacking B-sides onto the end of albums and calling them Bonus Tracks. This is the third single to be released on vinyl, and there’re three songs being released that didn’t make it onto the album’s final track list... Also, I’d like to see acts do what The Cure used to do and give the A-sides slightly different mixes to what they’ll have on the album. Backing vocals pushed up a bit, an overdubbed guitar part removed: just something to warrant the same recording being released twice. In the sixties and seventies UK record companies were dead against making people pay for the same thing multiple times. It got silly at times, when you had The Beatles leaving Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane off Pepper, and most of the Stones’ best mid-sixties tracks only available as 45s, but now it’s gone too far the other way. (I know many people aren’t actually paying for music now, but that still doesn’t give Ed Sheeran’s Perfect Symphony a reason to exist).

I like to see bonus tracks used as b-sides for post-album singles. B-sides before the album would be a bit silly in the age of streaming, I think, only serving to reduce hype by putting out lesser quality tracks before the record, but for post-album singles it could, well, actually give them a reason to exist in this day and age.

Nothing is more lame than a 7” having a proper side A and etching on side B. Give us something. Anything. Make the vinyl purchase worth it. It’s so not practical from a user experience.

Yep totally agree....it is an utter friggin con. I can't believe they have no b sides..I think Warner are the biggest money grabbing tits out there. I know it is all about the money..it certainly is not about the hardcore fan base!

Nice job! It's too bad Oasis/ Noel solo/Liam have never taken advantage of Solos over the years. They abandoned them pretty early in their career minus a few brushes here and there.. I love the little guitar solo bit in "shout it out loud". Not sure why other than laziness or perhaps being afraid to execute them live that they never included more of them. 90% of the time a guitar solo improves a song imo Hey, I just recorded two guitar solos over this outro, I was curious how it sounds I think I fucking overplayd it but it was raw improvisation. clyp.it/cmp4jrkwCheers.

This is the third single to be released on vinyl, and there’re three songs being released that didn’t make it onto the album’s final track list... It's the second one on vinyl. But I totally agree, Both the one-sided singles and the plain covers they use suck. Advertising the single with a non-existing artwork is fraud.

Nice solos, especially the first one! I really love "One of us" the more I listen to it, good melody (haven't listened to "Violet Hill" yet though) it's finely produced & the soulful outro is sweet! Possibly my favourite track from WMWN so far.

Yes, Oasis’ second act between 2000-2008 could be titled: Who the fuck stole our guitar solos?!?!?!?!?!? It’s like Austin Powers losing his mojo. Man post 2000 Oasis really was whack when you think about it. Gem, Andy and Liam writing songs??? Limited solos. Spinal tap drummers.

I don't really care about music videos, but if they are gonna have an effect, whatever that might be, they really should come out with the song and not like...a week after, which is gonna be the case again in this.
Even in this, the handling of this second album promotion has been underwhelming and i still think One Of Us came out a bit too early after Once. Should have been dropped closer to the record, like in 1 or 2 weeks time from now.

I really wish more artists tinkered with their own tunes and evolved them overtime. For example, the NG rethinks we got. Stuff like that is perfect for b-side material.
Imagine what Liam could do if he revisited tunes like Boy With The Blues, Songbird, I'm Outta Time, Solider On and how much he could improve them with a decade more experience. He must have given them a rethink at some point since he wrote them. listening back to those songs and thinking, "Ah, man, should've done that bit different there and done this here and mixed this around ..."

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but are we sure it is 'you and gertie said' or is it 'you weren't good he said'?

If the demand is there they should be realising official covers.
