I hadn’t found any thread discuss about it, it’s a funny news.
IMO, I thought bonehead wasn’t a bad guitarist, maybe he just show his barre skills to us, even I found the other bootlegs if Oasis, he still just performed barre chords.

Tbf, that original 'wall of sound' wouldn't have existed without Bonehead and the way he played guitar. The band wouldn't have been the band we know without him.

Things fell into place because of all of them. Those lads made that band and then Liam and Noel joined.
That doesnt mean we should start rewriting Bonehead as some kind of musical pioneer though. Yes, he was a big part of that early Oasis sound and as time as gone on hes been very downplayed by Noel. But Noel decided what sound the band would have.
If bonehead was responsible for it then its a bit like creating a couple of the nuts and bolts on a car. Noel made the whole car.

Remember that Bonehead was there before Noel, so his guitar sound served as the basis for that Oasis sound.

The Early Years bootleg seems to prove otherwise. Noel was already here and the "Oasis sound" was in its very early stage, like a bad version of the Stones Roses. It took them two years to get there after those recordings.
Bonehead probably bought the gear that made the sound in the end, though. So Congrats !
