Even a band full of Tony Mccaroll would sound better than Liam's band.

Voted OG oasis of course. Hardly a slight on Liams band though is it. I'm mean who would sound better on Stone Roses songs, the stone roses or Ian browns backing band. Who would sound better performing Definitely Maybe, Oasis or High Flying Birds?

I find it hard to believe Guigsy has been leaning his craft for all this time. Wasn't the last story about him being chucked out of a test match at Lords for drinking all day? Then theres Tony, who knows what level hes at now. Id say its a bit different to John Squire and Mani.

If your talking them just walking in off the street having not played professionally for two decades then Liam's band would sound better by a country mile. If they are given time to get back up to speed then I see no reason why the old boys couldnt roll back the years. Of couse if Noel isn't involved a massive question mark would be who replaces him because his guitar playing and vocals are massively important to early Oasis sound. In conclusion I'm over thinking this and have given myself a headache ๐๐

Liam's band has improved a lot, and I no longer actively wish any of them harm. They seem to have become an actual band rather than a group of session men who just happened to be walking by when Liam needed to hire someone.
And I know Guigsy has been retired for 20 years without any hints of still being an active musician. Whitey's running his business, and Tony's doing speaking tours. Only Bone seems to be an actual working musician at the moment.
But I'd still love to see them together just once. Maybe for their eventual HOF induction, though I doubt Noel and Liam would even attend together.

Who's the lead guitarist then? That seems to be pretty important...

Who's the lead guitarist then? That seems to be pretty important... I wanna say Brian May now so we can level it out a bit?
