Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, saw that the official Oasis YouTube channel uploaded a Definitely Maybe 25th Anniversary 'trailer'. Wonder if they're teasing some new special release? I'd be surprised given we only just got the 'Chasing the Sun' box sets a few years ago but you never know...
We know it definitely isn't a reunion that's for sure! Unless all the recent press has been an elaborate marketing ruse  |

So no new music from the era, no demos or outtakes from various sessions like the Liam sung Sad Song.
The picture disc is cracking looking but it’s just a bit disappointing that they aren’t marking the anniversary with something worthwhile.

Damn, time flies. I've only been a fan for five years and wasn't even born when DM was released but still I'll never forget the moment I listened to this masterpiece for the first time. Of course, it's not as impressive to remember listening to an album five years later (compared to 25ish years) but considering my own age, that's quite a long time for me although I also get the impression that the years are flying by.

The double picture discs do look quite good but I don’t know if I’ll bother getting it. The truth is I’ve got so much nice Oasis stuff that I hardly get to enjoy and appreciate right now without adding more that I’m probably just going to have sit on a shelf.
I’ve got the original creation one and the one from the CTS box so I really don’t need another copy. I love to collect but within limits. I want to enjoy what I have not just pile on more.
I might cave, but we’ll see. Probably not. It is very nice but just because I like something doesn’t mean I have to have it.
